Working draft. This is a working-draft privacy policy for the proposal stage. Before launching, it will be reviewed and the data-handling controls audited.
What we collect
When you have an account: your name, email, password (hashed), business profile fields you fill in (logo, tagline, description, contact details, perfect-referral text), and your activity on the platform (RSVPs, referrals you log, asks/offers you post, notifications). Server access logs (IP + user-agent) are retained for 30 days for security purposes.
What we use it for
Operating the club: showing your profile in the directory (when you publish it), letting members refer to one another, sending you transactional email (RSVP confirmations, referral notifications), and the weekly digest. We don't sell data to third parties. We don't run third-party tracking or advertising scripts.
Cookies
We use a single first-party session cookie for authentication. No third-party trackers. No analytics that identify you personally.
Who can see what
Your public profile (if published) is visible to anyone. The full directory — your email, phone, "perfect referral" — is visible to logged-in members only. Admins can see all member data for the purposes of running the club.
Your rights
You can edit your profile, leave the club, or request your account be deleted at any time by emailing hello@brbc.lhuk.ltd. UK GDPR rights apply.
Where data lives
Self-hosted in the UK on infrastructure operated by us. We do not transfer data outside the UK or EU.
